I have already presented two month ago the 1:87 scale Volvo PV444A released by the Stockholm ModellJärnvägsklubb ( SMJ ). The H0 resin model is either available as a kit or rtr model. The website of the club is now offering an order page in Swedish, English and German . This should ease up the task of ordering one of these nice models.

The kit is available for ± 28 € and the rtr model for ± 39 € plus shipping.

The colourful painted models are offered under the name Super Power. I have never heard this name before and I do ignore who is producing them. The PV56 was a luxury pre-war model by Volvo featuring a 3670 cm³ straight six cylinder engine providing 63 kW. Only 1321 cars were produced. It is quite obvious that the design of the body was largely influenced by American cars of that period.

[TD="class: wsite-multicol-col"] The Volvo P1800 Jensen ( 1961-1963 ) by Neo Scale Models has just been released and a special edition model is already. The 1:43 scale model is painted ivory and is produced in a limited edition of 300 units for the German webstore Modelcarworld.

The model is available under item # 174822 for 54.95 €.

[TD="class: wsite-multicol-col"] I have however noticed that Volvo has not offered this specific color for these model years. The P1800 Jensen was only available in white ( 69 ), red ( 70 ) and dark grey ( 71 ). A light yellow / ivory ( 97 ) paint scheme was available for the model year 1969.
It seems to me that the fresh air intake grille is also oversized on this scale model.
The window trim is also too black, This is certainly due to the black interior and the way the scale model has been designed and mounted.

A Volvo Amazon 122S will soon be available in a collection offered by Editions Hachette in France. This collection is called 'Les Classiques de l'Automobile' which simply means 'classic cars'. By watching at the complete model list you will notice that there are many French cars. But you will also find cars from many other countries. The oldest being a Chrysler Airflow from 1936 and the newest is so far a 2010 Audi Q7.
The Volvo Amazon 12S will be produced by IXO and should be available during week 23 of 2013. The models of this collection can however only be purchased in France at news-stands. The price of a model together with the French automobile magazine Auto-Plus is 13.99 €. The first model of the collection - a 1966 Citroën DS 19 Pallas - was released in February 2010.

The 1:18 scale model will be made of resin and only 1000 units will be exclusively produced for Model Car World. It will be painted red and will feature a black interior. The model will not have opening doors, hood or tailgate. So far only a photo of a pre-production model has been published. The scale model will be available under item # 183928. A precise release date is not yet known. The shortcut BoS stands for 'Best of Show'. I presume that these are made by Neo Scale Models.
