And for the anecdote : we wanted to produce the P210 as nr. 23, but our producer (IXO) took the wrong car as an example and it was too late to change the molds. It's not a redecoration of the same mold, it's a complete new mold of the same car ! So we had to find an interesting decoration that our customer won't be disappointed by what seems to be only a new color.

The 1:43 scale kit seems to feature very clean resin parts and a bunch of photo etched parts for the trim, window frames, badges, and many other details. The kit is available for 49.95 $ under item # k38. It can also be purchased on eBay but the price will be 59.95 $ instead of the 49.95 $.
I can't tell you so far how many kits have been made. I'm still trying to get in contact with the producer.
I have however discovered that the tires are made of resin and not out of rubber. This is of course not so great if you are intending to assemble the kit into an high end scale model.
I will present this kit more in detail as soon as my kit has arrived.

Improved safety features were doors with steel side impact bars and a safety steering wheel.

The Volvo Amazon 122S which has been announced in the collection called 'Les Classiques de l'Automobile' is experiencing some delays. The model was scheduled to be released during week 23. But the Volvo has been moved from N° 87 to N° 94. The Volvo has in fact been swapped with the Citroen BX 16 TRS.
The collection is offered by Editions Hachette in France and the Volvo Amazon 122S will be produced by IXO. The models of this collection can however only be purchased in France at news-stands. The price of a model together with the French automobile magazine Auto-Plus is 13.99 €. The first model of the collection - a 1966 Citroën DS 19 Pallas - was released in February 2010.

The 1:43 scale models can now be purchased on their website. The available models are the redesigned Volvo S60, V60, S80, V70, X60 and XC70. Each model is available in two different paint schemes and each one costs 39.70 €.
The scale models are at the moment only available at Volvo's merchandising webstore. They are not yet listed on Norev's website and I still don't know when they will be available in local hobby stores.
All these models are now being produced by the French company Norev. The overall quality of them has improved compared to the previous ones offered by Motorart.
